The best response I’ve seen so far to using the newly released Space Wolf codex for other chapters/armies in the Warhammer 40,000 universe.

Friend> “Why not?”
MKOC> “The first time you played this game, you played Jigglypuff. So you have to keep playing Jigglypuff. FOREVER.”
Friend> “But I don’t like Jigglypuff. And Samus looks like fun.”
MKOC> “You just want to play Samus because she’s in a higher tier, you filthy unwashed powergamer. Look, if you go out and buy a new Wii, four new controllers, and a new copy of the game, then you can play Samus.”
Friend> “That’s like $350!”
MKOC> “So, you’re playing Jigglypuff, then.”

I’m fine by the way with people using a codex for another army.
