bang bang whooosh
My big response to a post on Hudson’s Hideout. Best to read the article (maybe listen to Total Biscuit’s radio show that’s link) and then read the commentary. To anyone who reads through it all, you get a pat on the back from me because I fear for the majority it will be a case of TL;DR

english bitchn'
I’ve recently been spending a fair chunk of my free time in Games Workshop just generally chatting to staff members and other players alike, from an abundance of things that aren’t all GW related, but of a closely geeky nature, yet there’s always one thing I’ve found mildly… I suppose amusing. It’s the, let’s called it stubborn approach, that the...
needed to ramble
So many things, so little time. I’ve got a billion lil notebooks of ‘stuff’ I need to sort out and dig information out of for university logbooks and so forth, I have a dissertation piece that keeps getting constantly rewritten/worded because I don’t like how it currently sits as a ‘speak out loud’ text and i’m fretting over my chance at grabbing a new...

assassinated
My server forums have been hosting an assassination contest. So far only Rogues and a particually skilled Warlock have been able to get kills within the event, or at least been able to get consistant kills. I actually had a bid upon my head and figured it would be fairly tough to kill me, being as at the time I was Prot and sitting on 29k hp unbuffed.
I went to get a bag of wotsits. Came back to...

Currently i’m putting together some of the elements of my dissertation, or rather, some of the notes that will hopefully help me and may be included within it as an underlining grasp of what my question is so with that in mind I took the step of purchasing a couple of books that were, I suppose recommended? More highlighted I suppose, by Matt.

bang it on the 'ead
There are several bloggers currently who are writing bad posts. Not just any bloggers though, instead it’s those who are within the ‘limelight’ of the blogosphere. They’re the guys who get the most views, the most comments and are ultimately (and most importantly) within a state of position to say what they think, be listened to… within reason anyway, and are able to...
humour me.
I don’t like shit. Of both kinds, the stuff that comes out your arse and the stuff game developers throw at our laps after having fed reviewers a clasp of cash, a wink and a pat on the back as they inform them “you know what to do”. If there’s one thing I could say I would love being, it would be a game reviewer for a magazine/website that had notice. The reason? So I could...
